This position is for credit risk data analysts interested in Corporate Data factory.
Function
The work you do will impact your team and your internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately also the client servicing process and therefore the bank’s core business. Our Credit Risk Data Analysts have been able to incorporate sophisticated data sources into the latest model development projects. This directly impacts the way Rabobank actively serves its clients. Practical Examples • Corporate Data Factory solution is an important stepping stone for running Corporate Credit risk model in live production environment. You will be pro-actively aligning regulatory data requirements and gathering proper data to enable the modelling of parameters such as Probability of Default, Loss Given Default and Exposure at Default. • You’ll develop the principles for implementing the solution that complies with the latest policy guidelines related to data management & data quality in particular. • You will support monitoring and back-testing, regulatory tasks in regards of Corporate model in production with data and expertise.
• You will flag DQ issues and help support the business in the remediation of the identified historical DQ issues.
Top responsibilities
• Learn and work with Data Factory and support the run activities along with Basel IV, IFRS9 and EAD actualisation projects.
• Handle traditional SQL tasks, collating data from multiple sources, perform a series of standard and specific DQ checks, flag DQ issues and support the remediation of data where needed; ultimately, in close cooperation with the Business Analysts, you’ll check whether the data sets are fit for purpose;
• You will tackle various data related issues and you will work on global and cross functional change projects to improve our processes and systems
Requirements
In addition to that, you:
• Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field;
• Possess at least 3 years of relevant banking experience within the financial industries sector (preferably within the Credit Risk domain);
• Have strong analytical and conceptual skills (databases, data warehouses and SQL);
• Familiar working with Collibra application(good to have)
• have experience in setting up requirements for complex batch processes
• have experience in setting up structural automated solutions for validation and plausibilisation of data
• Are IT Savvy and have work experience working together with Technical Developers and IT / Solution Architects
• Have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Have the ability to present solutions and provide clear documentation of all steps;
