Organization
Within CIO Wealth Management & Corporate Banking we help customers realize their dreams and ambitions by supporting credit applications, investment solutions, financial planning and the banking platform for our branches outside the Netherlands. The IT Landscape consists of 140 DevOps teams spread over 4 Value Clusters: Credits, Financial Markets, International Core Banking and Wealth.
You work with your DevOps Coach colleagues on various topics within the CIO. You have your own area of focus and responsibility. This could be a Value Cluster and/or Grid. This gives you the opportunity to get to know and understand the area of interest well. The bank strives for a clear approach to IT transformation and you will shape this for your area of interest. Your stakeholder field consists of DevOps teams as well as Grid Owners, IT Leads, (Lead) Product Owners and Chapter Leads. Together with them, you guide the further growth of the organization through informing, advising and interventions.
Function
As a DevOps Coach you are responsible for driving the continuous growth of Agile and DevOps in our Way of Working within IT. Your activities will consist of:
(a) enabling flow in IT delivery by advising on DevOps competences and implementing Agile practices at scale,
(b) bringing focus and dedication in Grids to improve IT performance by sharing valuable insights and initiating interventions,
(c) fostering the Engineering Culture and high performing teams by cultivating key values.
As a DevOps Coach you are a self-starter. You initiate and start improvement initiatives, convert your knowledge and expertise into tangible changes and involve relevant stakeholders. You also have a clear vision for the Grids’ ongoing DevOps journey, using your expertise to drive the transformation and collaborate with senior management. Together you bring changes and anchor them in the organization. You do not avoid resistance and dare to challenge your colleagues on patterns. In all your conversations you will find the right tone to gain support and buy-in for continuous improvement. Your role and contribution constantly vary and you know how to adapt your style flawlessly. Critical of yourself and willing to grow, you enter into dialogue with your manager and appreciate feedback from stakeholders.
– The Grid is able to perform Performance Dialogues on IT delivery with DORA Metrics by identifying performance trends and opportunities, understanding IT strategy, and translating these into hands-on interventions to support teams.
