Organization
As a Senior Security Engineer in team Information Protection. You will be expected to own and improve “Shadow IT Management” capability. This will be your main focus. The purpose to do this is to prevent data leakage and protect information of the bank.
Function
- Bring down use of risky cloud apps.
- Estimate risk of data leak via the file upload sites and work towards blocking or bringing it under control.
- Clear processes with respect to granular control over data for cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master degree in any computer relevant field but not a must.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in cyber security domain, ability to roadmap the items needed for above results and self-steer and work with the team.
- Ability to work with the team and product owner and give imputs to the roadmap and take ownership of the topics of Shadow Risk management. Also work hands-on on the topics.
- Experience working in cloud technologies like MDCA/MCAS.
- Background in SOC is nice to have.
- Solid understanding of risks of ShadowIT applications in cloud/on-premises and thinking autonomously to improve the security posture.
- Good communication skills and team player to be able to work with stakeholders.
- Ability to convert tech language to simple understandable for relevant stakeholders.
- Guide the juniors and steer them into improving the capability.
